A woman was shot in north Phoenix on Friday morning in her car. Police say she was in her car leaving for work when a man began pounding on her car door. When she began backing up to get away he opened fire. Although she was shot in the arm she managed to drive to a nearby Chevron to call 911.
Phoenix police snipers ended a standoff in a home near 12th Street and Broadway Tuesday morning with a single shot to the suspects head.
“About four hours into the standoff, a curtain was drawn open, we believe on purpose,” Crump said. “A couple of our officers saw a female in what they described as threatening position over another female. At which point, one shot was fired from one of our snipers.”
