Testimony in the trial of suspected Baseline Killer Mark Goudeau has come to a close. His defense attorneys unexpectedly rested their case without calling any witnesses on Thursday. Closing arguments for the Baseline Killer case are scheduled for October 17th.

25-year-old Amos Carle Andreas pleaded not guilty in the shaking death of a 4-month-old girl. The man was arrested on August 22nd on suspicion of second-degree murder.

A shooting that took place at the Canterbury Apartments near Campbell and Interstate 17 took the lives of three adults. Two men, ages 20 and 26, and a 35-year-old woman were killed around 3:30 Thursday morning. Neighbors report hearing up to 50 gunshots.
