Oregon Man Arrested in Chandler After Checking In To A Restaurant on Facebook

36-year-old Matthew Ledbetter was arrested for an outstanding Oregon warrant at a Chandler restaurant near Price Road and Chandler Boulevard after checking into restaurant on Facebook. A Facebook friend noticed the check-in alerted Chandler police who arrived within minutes and made the arrest.

Chandler Man Pleads Guilty to Burning 5-Year-Old

25-year-old Johnny Salazar pleaded guilty on Thursday to burning the hand of his 5-year-old son after the boy touched his Bible. Salazar stated that he thought the boy was possessed. Salazar’s parents believe he was under the influence of a hallucinogenic designer drug.

Chandler Woman Pleads Guilty after Stealing from Store, Injuring Child at the Same Time

While 23-year-old Nicci Paige Rounsaville was fleeing a Chandler store after attempting to steal items with her children in her arms, she bumped the child’s head on the doorway, put the toddler into the front seat of the car without restraints (and in a handicapped parking spot), and backed into another vehicle on her way out of the lot. She also was in possession of marijuana.

Today she plead guilty to child abuse and possession of marijuana.
