Phoenix police say a suspected car thief in a stolen car pulled a gun on a woman and child at a west Phoenix gas station. Police later stopped the car and after a short foot pursuit, shot the suspect when he turned toward an officer with the gun.

A 4-year-old and his mother were both wounded when a car struck them at a crosswalk in the intersection of 20th Street and Osborn Road on Monday evening.

Chandler police have arrested Martin Canales Soto after he assisted a woman up after she fell in a parking lot and scraped her knee. After the chivalrous act, Soto asked to see her wound and began licking it as well as her face. Soto was soon arrested.
