Published by Administrator under Arizona, Metro Area News

A Yuma man who kept the body of his dead roommate in his apartment for nearly two years will not be incarcerated under the terms of a plea agreement.

Fifty-nine-year-old Joseph Glenn Robinson is expected to get probation when he’s sentenced later this month.

Robinson already has pleaded no contest to one count of theft for taking money from the roommate’s bank account.

Robinson is suspected of taking between $9,000 and $21,000 from his old roommate.

On Saturday, March 31st, the nude body of a Tucson woman was found hanging from a tree in the Tohono-Odham Indian reservation in Pima County.

Last Friday the body of 38-year-old Sheril Smith was found on a dirt road northwest of Tucson.
