23-year-old daughter of former Arizona Cardinal found dead in an alley
Leah Sharpe was found dead near Thomas and 43rd Avenue early Tuesday morning.
The 23-year-old daughter of former Arizona Cardinal Luis Sharpe has been identified as the woman found shot to death in a Phoenix alley earlier this week.
The body of Leah Tamara Sharpe was found in a Phoenix neighborhood around 7 a.m. Tuesday, said Detective Bob Ragsdale, Phoenix police spokesman.
Investigators say they believe that the body was dumped in the 3000 block of 39th Drive, near Thomas Road and 43rd Avenue. A car was seen in the alley shortly before a neighbor came across the body, authorities said.
