Suns guard Raja Bell was named to the NBA’s All-Defensive Team Monday for the first time in his career. Phoenix forward Shawn Marion did not make the first or second team.

Bell received seven first-place votes and 11-second place votes. He joined Los Angeles’ Kobe Bryant, Denver’s Marcus Camby and San Antonio’s Tim Duncan and Bruce Bowen on the first team.

Marion was three votes shy of making the second team.
