16-year-old killed by gunfire Tuesday night
A 16-year-old died Tuesday evening after being shot in the head outside his home near 24th Street and Broadway Road.
Phoenix police said Jose Ibarra was shot around 6:15 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators haven’t ruled out the possibility that the death was accidental, but said the family’s story isn’t checking out.
