Suspect in Thanksgiving Day murder arrested in Glendale
Glendale police said Thursday they have arrested a man who is a “person of interest” in a Thanksgiving Day murder.
The suspect, Manuel Corella, 29, also was wanted for numerous armed robberies and carjackings in Glendale, said Officer Jackie Cole, a Glendale police spokeswoman.
Corella was taken into custody Wednesday following a standoff that forced a lockdown at Glenn F. Burton Elementary School, 4801 W. Maryland Ave, Cole said.
