Police say that there is no evidence linking Mark Goudeau to 21 of the 23 cases attributed to the Baseline Killer. But they are saying that they have linked Goudeau to two sexual assualts near 31st Avenue and Vineyard on September 20, 2005.

Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris says forensic evidence links Goudeau to two night-time sexual assaults September 20, 2005 near 31st Avenue and Vineyard in southwest Phoenix. The victims, ages 21 and 23, are sisters and were attacked at gunpoint at a park in southwest Phoenix.

09/20/2006 I went to buy an Ice Tea a little after 3:00pm.
A young man was standing outside the store/gas station on 48th st. & Broadway South West corner,
He was between 20 & early 30”s years of age, he was wearing a semi blue dress shirt ~ long sleeve and a baseball cap,
As he walked pass by truck I turned to look at his hair it was short and very curly like an African American but he didn’t look African American…. he reminded me of someone I had seen so I took the color & name of the truck he got into, Black & White on the side it read Tri Rentals I was able to get some of the license plate number.
