I wish Greg Brown was coming to Phoenix but he’s playing down in Tucson on January 19th. He’s a great folk musician who always delivers an intimate show. I haven’t seen him since college and would consider this a must-see had he made it up to Phoenix.

I was wandering around way past midnight and I’m not quite sure what I saw. A non-bar. With booze. But no signage. And a doorman who denied access to the man trying to enter.

I’m not saying where this was, other than it was outside the Coronado district. This was close to my house but past the area where property values have skyrocketed and towards an area more familiar with foreclosures.

It reminded me of a London clip joint. So…anyone looking to check it out? Get ahold of me.

I’m headed down to America West Arena to catch the Suns Vs the Heat tonight. Should be a great game - sold out. Tickets were tough to find..and not cheap.
