Sam McGuffie - a Michigan Football Prospect?
Sam McGuffie is the Texas running back generating all of the attention for his verbal commitment to University of Michigan.
But right now the University of Michigan is still a year away. He's halfway through his senior year at Cy-Fair high school in the town of Cy-Fair, a northwest suburb of Houston
His senior season started well with verbal offers from Florida, USC, Texas A&M, and Notre Dame along with University of Michigan.
But McGuffie was hobbled by a sprained ankle in the first week of the season. His replacement, a 5'10'' 200 pound Wesley Cobb, rushed for 534 yards and scored 5 touchdowns in the next two games. Things can turn around in a hurry no?
