Sam McGuffie is the Texas running back generating
all of the attention for his verbal commitment to University of
Michigan.
But right now the University of Michigan is still
a year away. He's halfway through his senior year at Cy-Fair high
school in the town of Cy-Fair, a northwest suburb of Houston
His senior season started well with verbal offers
from Florida, USC, Texas A&M, and Notre Dame along with University
of Michigan.
But McGuffie was hobbled by a sprained ankle in the
first week of the season. His replacement, a 5'10'' 200 pound Wesley
Cobb, rushed for 534 yards and scored 5 touchdowns in the next two
games. Things can turn around in a hurry no?
