Papago has been called one of the best municipal courses in Arizona for severa reasons. Papago is located in Papago park and sits under beautiful read rock formations.

And because Papago winds around the Phoenix Zoo, you're likely to hear the residents of the zoo while playing.

Like the other Phoenix municipal golf courses, PGA professionals at Papago give free lessons for juniors between the ages of 8 and 17.

Because Papago is such a popular golf course, the clubhouse recommends making tee times several days in advance.

Green fees are around $40.
