The Palo Verde municipal course is in north-central Phoenix. Like most other City of Phoenix golf courses, Palo Verde a relatively flat casual course.

Their PGA professionals offer free lessons for youths ages 8 to 17. These professionals are available for lessons year round with the exception of October. Palo Verde is reseeded with winter grass in October.

Rates are around $15-$30.
