Encanto 9 Hole Municipal Golf Course has long been a Phx411.com favorite. Located on the edge of one of the oldest neighborhoods in Phoenix, Del Norte, Encanto offers views no other executive course in the city can match.

Other courses may have great views of the metro area and the sonoran desert. But most of these are accompanied by thousands of terra-cotta roofs covering one of three styles of houses.

Your view while playing Encanto includes historic houses, the old Phoenixs Suns stadium, people walking their dogs, and sometimes the less fortunate emptying the course trash tins of recycables. Nobody seems to care about the latter.

The Encanto 9 Hole Course plays in about an hour and a half. The clubhouse offers a small pro shop, snacks, sodas, and beer. The course allows carts, handcarts, and walkers.
