Desert Sands Golf Course was built in the late 60's as a private country club for a Mesa housing community. The now public course has new owners who have thrown a good deal of money into facility. Of course that's less significant without knowing what the course looked like with the previous owners.

The course is located in southeast Mesa. It features a clubhouse with restaurant and bar, a clubhouse, and a driving range.

Green fees are around $20-$30 season dependent. Unlimited golf with a cart is $15 in the summer.
