The Cave Creek Municipal Golf Course is a popular course for several reasons. It's the best maintained municipal golf course and it's one of the only city courses in north Phoenix.

Cave Creek Golf Course stands out from other courses in a variety of ways. It's one of the longest courses and has more rounds of golf played per year than any other municipal course. More than 100,000 rounds of golf are played at the course every year.

The current location of Cave Creek Golf Course was previously a landfill and the land reclamation project that transformed the course is one of the most succesful golf-associated environmental effort in Phoenix.

Although the course is busy, play moves quickly.

Rates range from $6 - $25.
