restaurant I've ever visited. It is definitely worth a trip. I'd
actually consider it a must-do Phoenix experience.
Lo-Lo's does serve chicken and waffles together - which is actually much better than it sounds - but they also have a superior soul food menu.
Just the experience of Lo-Lo's makes it worth the visit. It's located in a somewhat odd location just south of Buckeye and just west of Central but once you walk in you feel right at home.
As far as I know, Lo-Lo's owner, Larry White Jr runs most of the show. As the grandson of a soul food pro - Elizabeth White - he's got the credentials.
Don't forget to try the red beans and the grits...with a cold Kool Aid.
