Joe's BBQ, in downtown Gilbert, is an East Valley favorite. The cafeteria-style restaurant looks and feels like a family reunion with group picnic tables inside and outside.

Ordering lunch at Joe's usually starts with a long line. Above the window where you'll place your order are giant blackboards with the menu for that day. The meat selection includes barbecue sampler plates, bbq sandwhiches, pulled pork, bbq chicken, pit ham, sliced beef brisquet, pork ribs, turkey breasts, and more. Side selections consist of mac n' cheese, applesauce, bbq pit beans, potato chip, sweet cut corn, cheesy potatoes, green salads, and more.
And Joe's is a great place to take kids with its casual atmosphere and unique decorations. Like the John Deere tractor in the middle of the dinning area.
