#1: The 5th Avenue Cafe is a low-key restaurant in a nice, laid-back neighborhood in Central Phoenix. It's across the street from St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center
The casual diner serves a praiseworthy and affordable breakfeast. Dinner and lunch consist of both sandwhiches and a variety of comfort food.
5th Avenue is unique for several reasons - occasionally there's live music, several out-of-place manaquens and the surprsing number of police and FBI agents that regularly visit the restaurant. It's also a great place for people watching.
Another plus - they serve beer.
