Wine has become increasing popular among younger people
over the last few years. The culture surrounding wine is losing its
elitism as distributers cater to younger crowds.
Wine selctions in grocery stores are more diverse and
less expensive. And bottlers have taken a more whimsical approach to
marketing including english brand names and less aristocratic labels.
A night out at a wine bar is more common these days as
wine bars are popping up all over the metro area. Many Phoenix residents
are famliar with a few older wine bars such as Chevront Wine Bar and
Christopher Fermier Brasserie and Paola's Wine Bar. But increasingly,
hip new wine bars are popular amongst 25-35 year-olds.
