#1: They host karaoke several nights a week with a mixture of Mexican 'fiesta' music as well as classic rock and pop. Ernie's has two pool tables, inexpensive drinks, and a friendly staff and atmosphere.
#2: The only reason Ernie's has not been featured in the Best of New Times for dive bars is because white people don't know about. It's a friendly place where you can learn new Mexican pool games.
